Formally Gentoo’s Head of HR, Samantha steps into this pivotal leadership role with a proven track record of championing meaningful change and innovation. Her role will see her continue to develop the strategic direction of the HR and learning offer while driving impactful organisational development across Gentoo’s social housing services.
Over the past 18 months, Samantha has played a vital role in Gentoo’s cultural transformation, leading on culture initiatives that earned the organisation it’ s Great Place to Work™ certification, implementing the Workday HR and Finance system, and the creation of brand-new organisational values.
Speaking of the announcement, Samantha said: “I am delighted to have been appointed as the new Director of People at Gentoo.
“Over the past 18 months, we have made incredible strides in improving our workplace culture. I am excited to continue working alongside colleagues across the business to build on this progress, making Gentoo an even better place to work and delivering improved services for our customers.”
Samantha joined Gentoo eight years ago as a HR Business Partner, before progressing to Head of HR. Now in her new role as Director of People, she will play a key role in supporting the leadership team on the delivery of our corporate strategy.
In the role, Samantha will report into the Executive Director of Customer, People and Engagement, Susan Fulton. Susan has recently expanded her role at Gentoo at the end of 2024 and is now responsible for the housing services at the organisation, as well as the People, Communications and Customer Voice teams.
